The official May 2025 summary reports 1,076 advertised, 305 canceled, and 420 sold. Learn what those totals establish and why our parcel history is not a complete reconciliation.

What the official event summary reports

The San Bernardino official auction platform’s May 10–16, 2025 results page reports 1,076 advertised items, 305 canceled items, and 420 sold items. It also displays 771 properties available for that historical sale. We checked that page on September 8, 2026. These figures describe the named 2025 event; they are not today’s available inventory. This report preserves the official aggregate labels and explains the limits of joining them to our local parcel history. It is not a complete parcel-by-parcel certification of the sale.

The remainder has no verified unsold classification

Subtracting the reported 420 sold and 305 canceled items from the 1,076 advertised items leaves 351. That is our arithmetic remainder, not a separate official unsold figure. We label it unknown in this report because the reviewed summary does not establish a specific result for every remaining item. Similarly, the 771 available count is consistent with advertised minus canceled, but describes a different population from advertised. We do not publish a sell-through rate that could obscure that distinction or suggest independently verified final settlement.

Why the saved history does not replace the source

Our local master-history review found 775 rows dated May 13–16, 2025, with 420 labeled Sold and 355 labeled Unsold. Although the sold total agrees with the official summary, the row population exceeds the official available count by four. We have not reconciled that membership difference. Accordingly, we do not promote the local 355 label count into this report’s verified outcomes. Resolving the discrepancy requires matching the complete official roster and withdrawal notes against the imported records, retaining original identifiers and observation dates throughout the comparison.

An auction result is one stage of evidence

The official platform describes separate steps for bidding, paying for purchases, and processing payment status. Our sold label therefore means reported sold by the official event summary, with no additional claim that we checked every purchaser’s payment or every recorded deed. Those later questions require their own sources. For a transaction comparison, keep the event result, any payment evidence, and any recording evidence separate. This also avoids reading the persistent available-for-sale wording on a historical result page as proof that those parcels can still be purchased today.

Use the summary as a documented starting point for studying the event, then follow the official source for an individual item. Record its APN, auction identifier, displayed outcome, and the date you checked it. If you need a complete statistical sample, wait for or perform a full roster reconciliation rather than filling uncertain rows with assumptions. If you are considering a different parcel for a future purchase, review that event’s terms and obtain the title and property research it requires. Historical aggregate counts do not resolve a particular property’s condition, obligations, or suitability.
